Greetings!
My name is Brittany McArdle. I was born and raised in sunny San Diego in 1990. I graduated from Poway High School in 2008 and continued my education at California State University San Marcos. I graduated from CSUSM in spring 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Special Degree in German. It was during my time at CSUSM that I was fortunate enough to spend a year abroad in Heidelberg Germany. Currently, I'm working on obtaining my teaching credentials at CSUSM. I spent my first semester of Clinical Practice at High Tech Middle North County, giving me experience with an alternative form of education where students learn in a project base environment. For my second semester of Clinical Practice, I am at Orange Glen High School and am eager to gain experience in a more traditional school setting.
They say teaching is a calling rather than a choice--I think this sits quiet nicely with me. I've known that I 've wanted to become a teacher since I was ten years old. I want to help others learn and to cultivate a love for learning--overall helping generations realize that learning is a life long journey and it should be enjoyed!
